Savta's Toys was designed by an Early Childhood Educator with over 30 years of experience with young children, including 13 years as principal of a large New York Early Childhood Center. Year after year the educational toys and activities she ordered and purchased for the school were loved by the children and parents alike.

The idea for Savta’s toys was created from this experience, and that of being a grandmother living thousands of miles away from her grandchildren. On every one of her many trips to Israel her suitcases were filled with educational quality toys for her grandchildren and friends in Israel; toys that could not be found in Israel for a reasonable price.

Finally Savta made aliyah! And now she has opened this website so other long distance grandparents, family, and friends can send quality toys and activities to relatives and friends in Israel at any time from the comfort of their own home.
